Jim Young Music

GREAT NEWS!

The Bost Family Tradition band,a great gospel/bluegrass band out of Arizona
(www.bostfamilytraditions.com), has recorded 'Hard Work, Prayer and Grace'
off the 'Make A Joyful Noise' CD!  In fact...they made it the title cut!

REVIEW FROM THE SILVER JUBILEE 25TH ANNUAL MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL:
Jim Young is the pride of Southern Colorado´s singer-songwriters, and no other artist matches
Jim´s subtle combinations of the diverse strains and rhythms that have shaped the music
and the people of his beloved Southwest.
In Jim´s voice and guitar, you can hear a bit of cowboy, a bit of country,
a bit of Spanish-and if you close your eyes,
you can see the landscape he sings of stretching to the far horizon.

Jim's song 'Broken White Line' has been recorded by the popular Sons and Brothers Band!
It is on their new CD 'Gone To The West'.  Check it out at www.sonsandbrothersband.com
They do an absolutely wonderful rendition!

Jim Young's music captures the essence of the southwest,
it's people, and the landscape.
Perhaps it is because of his love of it.

You'll smell the sage!

In 2007 Jim produced both the 'Alleluia' and the 'Cowboy Pride' CDs
in collaboration with Paul Schwotzer,
the well respected sound engineer from Colorado Springs.

You'll appreciate Paul's unique ability to capture the acoustic sound like no other.
All songs are performed solo...all songs(except one) are original.
'Alleluia' is Jim's 2nd gospel CD.
'Cowboy Pride' continues the tradition!

"Jim Young doesn't write a song 'about' something...he writes a song 'for' something." wrote one reviewer. His strong voice and driving guitar will take you through the arroyos, across the prairies and into the mountains of the southwest.
His first CD 'Vaya Con Dios' reflects such writing. Jim's performances in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming have afforded him an ever widening group of devoted fans.
